Session 1 - 20th November 2024
"Uncovering the Past - Excavations & Archaeology"
This "Take A Look" session was a great opportunity to engage with both the architectural and archaeological aspects of the church. Visitors started in the vestry, where they viewed a small exhibition before moving to the chancel area for an explanation of the excavation findings by the archaeologist. After returning to the vestry, the Q&A session with a representative from the building contractor, Bakers of Danbury, provided insights into the construction process and any ongoing work.
Numbers were limited to 8 people per session. There were three time slots available.
The next Take A Look session will take place in February 2025.
