Permission to Start

We are utterly delighted to announce that we received "Permission to Start" from The National Lottery Heritage Fund on Friday 14th June.

This follows an astounding few weeks when many people gave overwhelming financial gifts to help meet the "match funding" that was required to get to this stage.  

We were also thrilled to receive two gifts from The Beatrice Laing Family Trust and The Garfield Weston Foundation.

It has been an intense few weeks and to have reached this milestone is a cause for celebration.  

The next few months will see the church gradually being emptied, with a final service in the building on Sunday 18th August.  Services will continue in the village as work to renovate the interior of the church starts in October.

Grateful thanks to anyone reading this who has contributed to the project over these last few years and particularly for the financial gifts that have been given in recent weeks to cross the threshold.
